a late 50’s or very early 60’s “RELIC” WFL Speed King pedal

this is an “A STOCK” pedal and is in extremely good condition
original paint is remarkably intact and shows interesting texture. not all the painting employees at WFL during this time period were experts—but the one who applied this paint certainly was. no wear on footboard, which is very rare for WFL footboards. all plated parts are in very, very good condition, especially the nickel plated grease caps.
shown with its original A STOCK era correct felt beater. the nickel plating on this beater is incredibly strong and even. felt is perfectly round and has good density. it is solid and doesn’t move, rattle or rotate. other beaters available
100% era correct original WFL pedal produced in Chicago, IL between 1957–60.
